No.6: Made because I had the fabric left over. This is made from the man-made fabric ‘silkessence’ and hand painted with fabric paint. The field is singly ply and the paint applied to form the scroll is thick enough on both sides so as to avoid the reverse of the letters showing through. The thistle is painted in mirror-image on the reverse. |
