Old Airfix kit. Not a kit I would recommend. Loads of problems with accuracy, not least that cockpit windscreen, and very thick wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To try and make something of this kit, I added cannon barrels, exhaust stubs, radio mast and new prop blades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you come across this specific kit, best leave it be. Airfix&#8217;s latest Spitfires are fantastic though &#8211; see my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vexillummilitaris.co.uk\/?page_id=1456\">Mk Vb here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I built my kit as an LF XVIe of the RCAF.
